FACTORS IN FINANCING DECISIONS AND RISK MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES ON THE LEVEL OF PROFITS GENERATED BY BANKING

Abstract

This research aims to determine the decision factors for providing financing and risk management strategies on the level of profits generated by the Bank (study of Bank Mega Syariah KCP. Latimojong).

This research uses a qualitative method with a case study research approach. The data source used in this research is primary data. The data collection method for this research uses the interview method with Bank Mega Syariah KCP employees. Latimojong. The sample in this study included 3 people, namely sub branch manager, operations manager and customer service. The research instruments used in this research were an interview guide, an interview recording tool, and a picture taking tool.

The results of this research show that factors such as customer financial performance, collateral, and payment track record play an important role in the decision to provide financing. In addition, effective risk management strategies, such as portfolio diversification and strict supervision of ongoing financing, have been proven to contribute to increasing bank profits. This study provides in-depth insight into financing and risk management practices at Bank Mega Syariah KCP. Latimojong.
