Artikel ini menyelidiki bagaimana Rumah Moderasi Beragama (RMB) STAIN Majene dan UIN Dato Karama mempromosikan wacana moderasi beragama di lingkungan akademik. Dengan menggunakan teori eksistensi paradigma keilmuan Imre Lakatos menunjukkan bahwa wacana moderasi beragama akan tetap eksis, walaupun ada beberapa pihak yang tidak sepakat dengan wacana tersebut. Wacana moderasi beragama akan terus eksis karena didukung oleh Progresive Research Programme (RMB menyelenggarakan kegiatan seperti seminar, lokakarya, sosialisasi, pelatihan moderasi beragama bagi mahasiswa dan dosen), Fruit Full (menghasilkan peserta pelatihan berperan sebagai agen-agen moderasi beragama progresif, baik mahasiswa, alumni, tenaga kependidikan, dan dosen). Dan Protective Belt (pengurusan Rumah Moderasi Beragama (RMB) tetap didukung dan dilindungi oleh pihak kampus).
