LIVING QUR’AN DALAM PENGUATAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS (Study Praktek Sosial dan Spiritual Masyarakat Madura Dengan Dzikir Rotibul Haddad)

Perubahan sosial-kultural yang cepat akibat perkembangan teknologi dan informasi digital, memunculkan krisis identitas, etika, dan spiritualitas, termasuk  mayarakat Madura yang dikenal religius. Modernitas kadang difahami secara parsial sehingga religiustas Masyarakat Madura juga mengalami degradasi dan banyak kemerosotan moral. Islam melalui Al-Qur’an sudah memiliki konsep yang sempurna dan proporsional dan adaptif sepanjang zaman. Kajian Living Qur’an menawarkan pendekatan untuk memahami bagaimana teks suci dihidupi dalam praktik sosial keagamaan, tidak hanya sebagai teks normative tetapi berfungsi sebagai realitas yang hidup dalam praktek sosial dan spiritual Masyarakat, salah satu manifestasi Living Qur’an Adalah praktek pembacaan Dzikir Rotibul Haddad. Studi ini menganalisis bagaimana Dzikir Ratib al-Haddad menjadi ruang internalisasi nilai-nilai Qur’ani dalam penguatan karakter religius umat di era disrupsi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-deskriptif dengan analisis fenomenologi praktik sosial-keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Dzikir Rotibul Haddad berfungsi sebagai media internalisasi nilai-nilai Qur’ani seperti kuatnya iman dan ibadah, ketenangan spiritual, solidaritas sosial dan pembentukan akhlak mulia. Praktek ini menunjukkan bahwa Al-Qur’an hidup dan memiliki fungsi  aktif  dalam membentuk karakter individu dan kolektif Masyarakat yang religious. Teori yang akan dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Character Strenght Peterson dan Seligment, untuk menganalisa lebih mendalam bahwa Living Qur’an dan kekuatan kerakter (Charachter strenght) seseorang akan menentukan dan mengarahkan pada kebajikan-kebajikan (virtues). Internalisasi living Qur’an akan menguatkan karaker religius seseorang dalam segala ucapan, tindakan bahkan pemikiran. Dzikir Rotibul Haddad sebagai praktek spiritual kolektif dan praktek sosial secara langsung bisa membentuk virtue Transendence (Kebajikan Tansendensi) seperti spiritualitas, rasa syukur. Harapan, jujur,dan kebajikan-kebajikan lainnya. Dalam upaya menjaga dan menguatkan karakter religius masyarakat Madura, komunitas majlis Dzikir Rotibul Haddad IKSASS Sub Rayon Pragaan menjadikan  Rotibul Haddad sebagai sarana internalisasi Living Qur’an dalam praktik sosial dan spiritual sekaligus termasuk menjadi media silaturrahim, majlis taklim, dan bahsul masail bahkan media kontrol sosial dalam masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

Rapid socio-cultural changes resulting from the development of digital technology and information have given rise to a crisis of identity, ethics, and spirituality, including in the Madurese community, known for its religious nature. Modernity is sometimes understood in a partial manner, resulting in degradation of Madurese religiosity and a significant decline in morals. Islam, through the Qur'an, has a perfect, proportional, and adaptive concept throughout the ages. The Living Qur'an study offers an approach to understanding how the sacred text is lived in socio-religious practices, not merely as a normative text but also as a living reality in the social and spiritual practices of society. One manifestation of the Living Qur'an is the practice of reciting the Dhikr of Rotibul Haddad. This study analyzes how the Dhikr of Ratib al-Haddad becomes a space for internalizing Qur'anic values ​​in strengthening the religious character of the community in an era of disruption. The method used is qualitative-descriptive with a phenomenological analysis of socio-religious practices. The research results show that Dhikr Rotibul Haddad serves as a medium for internalizing Qur'anic values, such as strengthening faith and worship, spiritual serenity, social solidarity, and the development of noble morals. This practice demonstrates that the Qur'an is alive and plays an active role in shaping the individual and collective character of a religious society. The theory used in this research is Peterson and Seligment's Character Strength theory, to further analyze how the Living Qur'an and a person's character strength determine and guide them toward virtues. Internalizing the Living Qur'an will strengthen a person's religious character in all their words, actions, and thoughts. Dhikr Rotibul Haddad, as a collective spiritual and social practice, can directly shape the virtue of Transcendence, such as spirituality, gratitude, hope, honesty, and other virtues. In an effort to maintain and strengthen the religious character of the Madurese people, the Rotibul Haddad Dhikr Assembly (Majlis Dhikr Rotibul Haddad) of the IKSASS Pragaan Sub-District uses Rotibul Haddad as a means of internalizing the Living Qur'an in social and spiritual practices, as well as serving as a medium for fostering friendship, religious study groups, and bahsul masail (Islamic discussion forums), even as a means of social control within the surrounding community.
