ETIKA INTERAKSI MENANTU DAN MERTUA DALAM FILM NORMA PERSPEKTIF HUKUM ISLAM

Film Norma: Antara Mertua dan Menantu merepresentasikan relasi menantu–mertua yang problematis dan berpotensi melanggar etika mushāharah dalam hukum Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai batas interaksi kedua tokoh dalam film tersebut melalui perspektif fikih keluarga, terutama konsep aurat mahram, larangan khalwat dan ikhtilāṭ, serta maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah terkait penjagaan kehormatan (ḥifẓ al-‘irdh). Menggunakan metode hukum normatif dengan pendekatan konseptual dan analisis kasus, penelitian ini menelaah film sebagai teks sosial dan mencocokkannya dengan norma fikih klasik serta ketentuan hukum positif yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi fisik dan emosional antara Irfan dan Rina melampaui batas-batas mushāharah, termasuk sentuhan, kedekatan yang berpotensi fitnah, serta situasi khalwat yang dilarang syariat. Analisis maqāṣid menegaskan bahwa perilaku tersebut merusak kehormatan keluarga dan bertentangan dengan prinsip pencegahan kerusakan moral. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa film Norma menampilkan representasi yang tidak sesuai dengan etika keluarga Muslim, serta menegaskan pentingnya literasi etika keluarga dan sensitivitas nilai syariat dalam produksi film bertema keluarga.

Abstract

The film Norma: Between Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law represents a problematic relationship between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law that has the potential to violate the ethics of mushāharah in Islamic law. This study aims to assess the limits of interaction between the two characters in the film through the perspective of family fiqh, especially the concepts of aurat mahram, the prohibition of khalwat and ikhtilāṭ, and maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah related to the preservation of honor (ḥifẓ al-‘irdh). Using a normative legal method with a conceptual approach and case analysis, this study examines the film as a social text and compares it with classical fiqh norms and relevant positive legal provisions. The results show that the physical and emotional interactions between Irfan and Rina exceed the limits of mushāharah, including touching, closeness that has the potential for slander, and situations of khalwat that are prohibited by sharia. Maqāṣid analysis confirms that such behavior damages family honor and contradicts the principle of preventing moral corruption. This study concludes that the film Norma presents representations that are not in accordance with Muslim family ethics, and emphasizes the importance of family ethics literacy and sensitivity to Sharia values in the production of family-themed films.
