Abstract

Corruption is a complex issue that undermines social, economic, and political order in Indonesia. This phenomenon is not only related to legal and governmental aspects but is also influenced by social factors such as inequality and a permissive culture. Based on Islamic legal principles, combating corruption can be achieved by emphasizing the development of character based on trustworthiness, justice, and transparency. In this context, the role of leaders is crucial in maintaining integrity and ensuring that the power granted is not abused. Therefore, efforts to eradicate corruption require not only firm policies but also strong moral education at all levels of society. With an approach rooted in Islamic values, it is hoped that corruption can be minimized and a cleaner government can be realized, leading to sustainable progress in Indonesia.
