About the Journal

Bulletin of Economic Studies (BEST) is published by the Department of Economics, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar. BEST is a scientific journal that contains articles on high-quality research from students, researchers, and practitioners. It focuses on economic research, particularly applied economics, covering fields such as the creative economy, digital economy, gender and economics, natural resource and environmental economics, regional and political economics, industrial economics, development planning economics, employment economics, international economics, financial economics, as well as monetary and banking economics. BEST is committed to advancing economic knowledge and practice through the dissemination of the latest findings and developments from previous research.

Bulletin of Economic Studies (BEST) has been accredited by the National Journal Accreditation body (ARJUNA) under the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia with a Sinta 4 rating, based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development Strengthening No. 0173/C3/DT.05.00/2025 on the Scientific Journal Accreditation Ranking for Period I, 2025.
