EXPLORING MOTHER-CHILD MEMORY AS A FOUNDATION OF CHILDREN’S COGNITIVE, INTERPERSONAL AND INTRAPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE IN FILM ENOLA HOLMES (2020)

Studi ini mengkaji peran memori ibu-anak dalam membentuk kecerdasan anak seperti yang digambarkan dalam film Enola Holmes (2020). Berdasarkan teori Kecerdasan Ganda Howard Gardner, penelitian ini menyoroti bagaimana memori ibu berfungsi sebagai fondasi bagi perkembangan kognitif, interpersonal, dan intrapersonal. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis konten kualitatif, adegan-adegan terpilih yang melibatkan Enola Holmes dan ibunya, Eudoria, dianalisis melalui dialog, kilas balik, dan kode visual. Temuan ini mengungkapkan bahwa memori ibu bukan sekadar nostalgia, tetapi mekanisme naratif pewarisan intelektual dan emosional. Secara kognitif, ingatan Enola tentang latihan logika, teka-teki, dan latihan kriptografi meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalahnya. Secara interpersonal, ingatannya tentang nasihat ibu untuk berempati dan memahami orang lain membimbingnya dalam membangun kepercayaan dan kolaborasi. Secara intrapersonal, ingatan tentang cinta dan dorongan ibu menumbuhkan ketahanan, otonomi, dan kesadaran diri Enola dalam melawan batasan-batasan patriarki. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap studi sastra dan film dengan menunjukkan bagaimana memori ibu-anak berfungsi sebagai media pembentukan kecerdasan lintas generasi.
