PERAN PASAR TRADISIONAL TERHADAP PENDAPATAN ASLI DAERAH DI KOTA GORONTALO DALAM PERSPEKTIF EKONOMI SYARIAH

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan keberadaan pasar tradisional dalam menunjang pembangunan ekonomi di kota gorontalo, (2) menganalisis perkembangan pendapatan asli daerah kota gorontalo dengan keberadaan pasar tradisional, dan (3) menganalisis prespektif ekonomi syariah terhadap praktik pasar tradisional yang dikaitkan dengan peningkatan pendapatan asli daerah. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus kualitatif dengan sumber data berupa pedagang, pembeli, dan pemangku kepentingan pasar tradisional dari pemerintah kota Gorontalo, termasuk dinas pendapatan daerah dan pengelola pasar, serta akademisi ekonomi Syariah dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 35 orang. Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yang kemudian diolah dan dianalisis melalui tiga tahap: pengumpulan data, reduksi data dan penyajian data. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa kondisi pasar tradisional dapat di gambarkan sebagai “enggan hidup tetapi tidak rela mati”. Ungkapan tersebut merupakan analisis sederhana terhadap kondisi pasar tradisional di kota Gorontalo, yang merupakan salah satu asset kota untuk meningkatkan pendapatan asli daerah.

Abstract
The study aimed: 1) to describe the existence of traditional markets in supporting the economic development at the city of Gorontalo, 2) to analyze the progress of local revenues of Gorontalo with the traditional markets existence, 3) to analyze the Islamic economics perspective of the traditional market practices associated with the increasing of the local revenues. The study was a qualitative case study with the data sources of the traditional market traders, buyers and stakeholders from the Gorontalo government including the local revenue management and market managers, as well as from Islamic economics academia with the number of informants as many as 35 people. Observation, interview, and documentation were employed in collecting the data which then processed and analyzed through three stages of data collection, data reduction, and data presentation. The study results revealed that traditional markets condition could be described as "reluctant to live but not willing to die”. The phrase was a simple analysis of the traditional markets condition at the city of Gorontalo which one of the city treasures to increase the local revenues.
