About the Journal

SAINFIS (Sains Fisika) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Alauddin Makassar, Indonesia. The journal provides a forum for researchers, academics, and practitioners to publish original research findings and review articles in the field of physics and its applications.

The journal focuses on both theoretical and applied studies, covering the following areas: Materials Physics, Medical and Health Physics, Computational Physics, Instrumentation Physics, and Geophysics. SAINFIS aims to support the advancement of science and technology by disseminating high-quality, original, and innovative research that contributes to academic development and practical applications.

SAINFIS is published twice a year (biannually), in February and August. All submitted manuscripts are written in Indonesian or English and are subjected to a double-blind peer-review process to ensure scientific rigor, originality, relevance, and clarity. The journal applies strict editorial policies and adheres to ethical standards in scholarly publishing.

The journal is officially registered with ISSN 2827-7783 and is committed to promoting academic integrity, transparency, and accessibility in scientific communication through an online journal system.
